Actually, I think the story was painting the Wild Hunt as demons. I think. At least angels and Seelie fae seemed to exist as separate entities, while on the other side there was just the Unseelie fae... and the god of the Underworld (who was not named after any existing mythology) who seemed to be the father of the Wild Hunt. *headdesk*
I do love me some paranormal romance and urban fantasy, but it drives me to despair that there's so much rubbish in those particular subgenres.
