Actually, I've been stuck at home for the past couple of weeks, post (minor ear) surgery.

Given this made it impossible to wear glasses, let alone sunglasses, and being a pale geek redhead, there was No Leaving Of The House until at least dusk.

It also limited the hell out of my gaming/chatting and (to a lesser extent) watching of movies/shows*, so I have read a whole lot of stuff. (No speakers on computer, just headphones, which are awkward to wear on only one ear, plus: heat.)

Particularly:
Seanan McGuire's:
A Red-Rose Chain (Latest October Daye book)
Half-Off Ragnarok and Pocket Apocalypse (Incryptid books 3&4)

Simon R Green's Ghost Finder series, 1-4
Ghost of a Chance
Ghost of a Smile
Ghost of a Dream
Spirits From Beyond

And I'll almost certainly finish off books 5&6 of that series to close it out before I have to go back to work on Monday.

I might have time to read Seanan's How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea as well, depends how distracted I get by the fact that I can wear my damn sunnies again. (Probably not all that much.)

(*) Still managed to Netflix: River, (soooo good!) season one of The Fall (So very nearly good, but keeps nobbling itself just that tiny bit short of greatness, and it's frustrating as hell) and the first two seasons of the BBC/Kenneth Brannagh Wallander (sooo good!).

Oh, and watch 2/3s of the anime Yuki Yuna is a Hero/Yuki Yuna was Yusha de Aru, whihc is mostly a light fluffy magical girl show though there is some depth in actually addressing the fact that those sort of heroics have a price, which is a nice depth in an otherwise pretty ordinary mahou shoujo show.

If only it didn't keep having the creepy fanservice so often, most especially when these are junior high/middle school girls. Ew.
