Blue-tongued lizards have a reputation for being venomous, but aren't in fact. Instead, they're useful for combating snails in the garden.

Ooo... good question. I'm not really sure. I guess I'd be pleased and surprised, therefore disposed to be a little friendlier. I'd probably also ask which part of Australia they're from.
