I feel like I'm in a mini reading slump at the moment. I am doing a little reading, but nothing is really capturing my interest, even though I have a ton of good options available to me. At the moment, I'm making my way through Headless Males Make Great Lovers, a book of natural history by Marty Crump. I've been using it as my interstitial reading for the last few months, but since I don't have anything else I'd rather be reading right now I'm using it as my focus.
Dewey's readathon is this weekend, so I'm hoping it will bust me out of this rut.

The No.367 Collins falcons chicks are flapping around a lot. The feathers on their wings and tail are quite noticeable now, but the rest of them is more fluff than pin feathers.
Sahaquiel and I binged the last 6 episodes of our AtLA rewatch last night. It remained a very satisfying ending and Zuko's arc over this season is so wonderful. Still not sold on Azula's arc, though.

It's true I did do a lot of reading over the last couple of months. It's good to have perspective. <3

Also, yay for baby falcons. That was exactly what I needed this morning. <3

The baby falcons have been so wonderful to watch. I'm going to miss them once they're fully grown.

Also, yay. This comment came at a great time. Now I had baby falcons again in my morning. And this time I could see their flight feathers growing in underneath all that fluff. <3
