Spring photos, Part Two

Macro of a sunflower

Spring has now officially ended, so I thought I'd better hurry and post the last of the photos I've had lying around. This batch features all the non-natives.

These next few were taken on a dewy morning while visiting family.











I liked this one so much I made an icon out of it, as you can see.

These next two were taken at the local flower festival. Because I was there with other people and there is always quite a crowd, I didn't manage to take any particularly good ones.





These last few are a mishmash of things growing in my garden and in my neighbours' gardens. The magnolias were quite spectacular this year.

I like the wasp-coloured pansies, actually - they seem to be glowing with summerlight and the texture of the ones at the bottom is just gorgeous...I think my favourite is the sunflower, though, closely followed by that super-delicate second blossom shot.
