I'm always astonished by the range of topics manga and anime covers. Yakitate Japan is indeed about bread (and puns). It focuses on a young man who is determined to make a uniquely Japanese bread. Since the word for bread in Japanese is 'pan' he calls the bread 'Japan'.
Thank you for offering to do some writing exercises with me. I may take you up on that later. First, I need to finish the project I'm working on for Wyrd.
I haven't quite decided what my fandom would be for fanfiction yet... which is probably why I haven't written any yet. So many possibilities!
