Today’s tea is Kumquat tea from Lupicia. This is a way more subtle tea than I was expecting from the smell. The kumquat mostly comes through as a gentle aftertaste. It’s a nice light tea, good for the afternoons.

Today’s tea is Wombat Tea from the art of tea. I love a good Assam tea and this one comes blended with equally strong Daintree tea and a separately wrapped cube of chocolate (which you can be sure I’ve already eaten). Some of the profits from this tea go to Bonorong Wildlife Hospital.

Today’s tea is Canberra Breeze from Adore Tea. I’m still not sure how I feel about this one. It’s a blend of caramel, berries and rose, with the latter two being the predominant tastes. I’m fond of rose teas, not so much of berry teas. The disparate tastes didn’t make a great first impression, but it’s growing on me. It goes nicely with raspberry jam on toast.

Today’s tea is Sir Earl from Tea Garden Co. It’s a delightful Earl Grey blend which is not too harsh with its bergamot. One of the better blends I’ve tried.

Today’s tea is Ruby Red Rosehip from T2. This blend mixes rosehips, hibiscus and rosebuds. The combination is fragrant and tart, and has become my favourite thing to drink right before bed.

Today’s tea is Elder Flower Blend from the Tea Centre. It’s a bit more subtle than some flavoured blacks with a taste reminiscent of berries. I’m not usually a big fan of berry-flavoured tea, but I’m enjoying this one a whole lot.

Today’s tea is Buddha’s Tears from T2. It’s a light green tea flavoured with jasmine, good with meals or whenever you need something gentle and relaxing.

Today’s tea is Lavender Tea from Lyndock Lavender Farm. The black tea is largely hidden under the strong musk of lavender and a short brewing time is recommended.

Today’s tea is Raj’s Whole Chai Tea from Gewurzhaus. I’m fond of chai that uses star anise and this blend must also use plenty of black pepper because the warmth lingers in the aftertaste (although perhaps this is because I drink mine unsweetened).
