Red-bellied Black Snake

About a month ago, I was picnicking with friends by a river when a young red-bellied black snake slithered up from the bank. These snakes are not aggressive, so I managed to grab a few photos. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Right? Some of the others I've seen have been a bit of a faded red, but this one was reasonably bright. I think it was still quite young, since it was also smaller than some of the others I've seen (from a greater distance).
