Yes, I suppose that's exactly what it was a sign of. We had a delightful time in each other's company. She even texted me later and said "Thank you again for the fabulous company." I think we have a hope of friendship without any pressure or pretense. And, in a year or so, who knows?
(I did, at one point, get dramatically histrionic and made light of what was actually anger though she never would have known that... she gave me a long list of ways she changed to accommodate me and my wants and such (uber co-dependence) in her email to me so I said to her "You did all this stuff that changes who you are for me.... I never asked for that... DON'T CHANGE A THING! You're an amazing, wonderful woman as you are... BE YOU!!!!" I think she was stunned by the directness but I was smiling the whole time I said it so she knew she wasn't supposed to be hurt)
There are definitely some obstacles to our having a successful romantic relationship but that's so far off in the distance at this point. We have to get to know each other as friends first.
