Warning: Pic spam ahead!

We were both pretty worn out from the day before but Sahaquiel struggles with the concept of relaxing. So we drove further north to Noosa and walked along the beach there.

After pausing at a local cafe for some tea (which you'll all know is not a negotiable thing for me), we then headed inland to the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Being on the cusp of the tropics, the vegetation was rather more lush and green than at home.

While gorgeous, it did make me appreciate anew our autumn colour.

The clouds were also very lovely.

We stopped for a short walk through Mapleton Falls National Park where I took a great many bad photos and only a few decent ones.

We also did some more walking through some of the towns along the way, looking through art galleries and gift shops. My legs protested at the steep streets. I consoled myself with gelato after dinner.

Aw, Sahaquiel and I may be kindred spirits on the poor understanding of "relax" thing.

More lovely photos; those flowers with the different colors/shades on the same cluster are interesting.

BEAUTIFUL photos!

They're all quite beautiful! May I have your permission to use the clouds photo as a desktop image for a week or so? PM me to discuss.

I like the small flowers' sculpted points - that picture sings with colour like the first tree one sings with light.
