Mt TBR report: June 2012
Jul. 2nd, 2012 10:16 amMt TBR Status
Mt TBR at 1 January: 146 books
Mt TBR at 31 May: 139 books
Mt TBR at 30 June: 135 books
Total has gone down thanks to a cull I did mid-month rather than thanks to any reading I've done. I've actually been in a bit of a reading slump lately. Any suggestions on how to break out of it would be much appreciated.
While I'm on track to meet my goal of finishing the year with a smaller Mt TBR than I started it with, ten books doesn't seem like much of a reduction.
Books read
29. Sailing Alone Around the Room by Billy Collins.

Date: 2012-07-02 12:25 am (UTC)As for breaking through slumps... Sometimes rereading an old favourite helps, sometimes the best thing is to ride it out, sometimes switching up your reading can help... (So reading a bunch of short stories in a row or a bunch of comics/graphic novels or a completely different genre from what you're used to.)
Not sure whether there's anything helpful in that, but I hope so. ^-^
