Nailfie update

The photo makes it look a little paler than it was, but In the Air was still a very pale wrap. I really struggled with my application on this one and it didn't last very long.



I participated in a swap event on Facebook and managed to pick up the gorgeous wrap above. It's quite popular and I can see why! I thought it would be a little green for me, but it ended up being the perfect complement to what I was wearing. The photo above came courtesy of my sister-in-law, who took pity on me and saved me from my usual contortions.

Application went much better, but there were still a few wrinkles at the tips, which meant I only managed to nurse them along for a couple of days (though longer than my previous lot).



I'm off to the theatre this afternoon, so I thought it would be the perfect time to try on the February Sister Style wrap: New York Minute. The photo doesn't quite do it justice.

Application was near perfect this time and I think I've identified my problem: I haven't been using enough heat. Which means I'll probably succumb and buy one of the proper Jamberry heaters. It will be interesting to see how long this set lasts and whether they do indeed do better than the previous ones (I hope so).

Aren't they lovely? The first one didn't quite work out as I'd hoped. I suspect the lighting in the photo didn't quite do it justice, but it was a pale wrap.
