Just wrapping up That Ain't Magic by Seanan McGuire, the most recent book in her InCryptid series. Its preoccupation with evil corn makes it an excellent book for the beginning of Halloween season (even if it's not actually autumn in this part of the world). I also love Antimony a whole lot for being a little bit surly, a little more nerdy and a whole lot snarky. Plus, there's heaps of found family feels.

Currently watching
Just this morning my sister introduced me to No. 367 Collins. It's a live feed of a peregrine falcon nest on the window ledge of a building in the middle of Melbourne. I've had it streaming ever since.

Elsewise, Sahaquiel and I have embarked on rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender. Things have been pretty stressful lately and so without quite meaning to, we've drifted away from The Umbrella Academy. We're about halfway through the first season of Avatar and I'm remembering what an absolute delight it is.

I'm not quite sure. I don't feel like I have enough grasp on your taste in books to tell.

As for the falcons, yes, they are in Australia. In the middle of the CBD of one of our biggest cities, in fact. This makes me very happy.
