calissaI don't often get out for a walk on my own. Mostly, it is because I feel guilty for leaving the dogs behind; they always kick up a fuss even when I have already taken them out for the day. However, the weather this afternoon was gorgeous and I felt I needed some time outdoors.
The dots amongst the overgrown weeds are native bluebells (genus Wahlenbergia). There's a closer, out-of-focus look at them en mass.
I have no idea what this flower is. I could hazard a few guesses but none of them quite make sense.
