I'm almost finished with ASIM #44 and with cooking dinner. I'm definitely feeling tired again. I'm hoping the food (and perhaps some more tea) will pick me up once more. With a bit of luck, I may be able to finish off another issue after this one.
At the end of each ASIM issue there is usually a non-fiction essay and/or a book review. I've been enjoying the change of pace. I'm currently reading an essay on Australian horror and science fiction set in suburbia. I'm reminded of how some of the concepts from The Hunger Games are far from new. I also read a great story called "My Brother Quentin" by Janeen Samuel about a fictional brother that may not have been so fictional. Wonderful stuff. It should be interesting to see what the next issue has in store.
