When this photo went up on my social media accounts, the appearance of this tea got a lot of comments. As teas go, it didn't really grab me. A lot of people think that because I drink a lot of tea and have tried a lot of different kinds I must be a connoisseur. I don't really have a refined pallet, though, and certainly not enough to appreciate this one. It was lovely and mellow but didn't really do a whole lot for me.

This was another tea that didn't do a whole lot for me. The cacao wasn't at all detectable. Instead there was mint and a faint hint of something like citrus, though no citrus was present.

This was by far my favourite of the batch. It is a South American herbal I'd never tried before. It was a little bit nutty and a little bit vanilla. The closest comparison I can make is with rooibos, though it is a little milder. I could definitely see it being a regular.

I am fond of chamomile, though I don't drink it often. This sample came with a little tube of honey. The added sweetness wasn't to my taste, though both ingredients were quite lovely when separated.

All in all, not the strongest batch I've tried.

Wow I somehow missed that first photo because I definitely would have commented on the appearance AND name of that tea!
